Le Grand Duc
The cabaret "Le Grand Duc" was located on the 52, rue Pigalle (known today as : rue Jean-Baptiste Pigalle). In 1924, the owner was Georges Jamerson and the manager was Eugene Jacques Bullard who served up jazz and soul food the equal portions. This is where Ada 'Bricktop' Smith began dancing and became famous.
